On average, how many days per week do you train? and what is stopping you from training more?

I train 4-6 days per week. Working late, a lack of sleep, and being sore from work-outs will sometimes get in the way. Id rather hit 4 workouts at 100% intensity than 6 at half intensity. I try to eat well, take my fish oil, and sleep a lot, which all aid in recovery, and I am able to make it to train most days.
wow, my grammar is awesome.
I'm able to get 3 to 5 per week (counting distance runs as a training session).
What gets in the way? There is a wide list of things (grad school, work, travel, music, etc.), but mainly comes down to time management skills less than 100%. The ability to execute something no matter what is an ability I am striving for, be it for work, training, etc.), regardless of the (more) fun distractions in life.
I presently do at least 3 x sometimes 4. Schedule is my main reason for not doing more - that and the fact that I sometimes can't lift my arms after some work outs. This week I will be doing 3 days in a row which might kill me for more - but we will see how it goes.
Too many...
I subscribe to the Chris Spealler training methodology.
3 on 1 off, 2 on 1 off
Days remain the same each week.
I am pretty erratic with my training - sometimes 3 on 1 off, sometimes 1 on 3 off.
I can just about make it to 6:30 pm classes on time, but if I work 15-30 minutes late, or I have a work event at night, my chances of getting to the gym are 0.
Also, a recurring shoulder/neck 'thing' has had me at the Chiropractor after work 1x/week most of the late spring into late summer.
I'm finally almost feeling back to normal...just in time for the busy season at work to kick in and eat up all of my free time.
wow, I'm totally Debbie Downer.
Big fan of the planned rest day following a hard workout. 1 day on 1 day off protocol. Has worked well for me.
But it must be earned or I don't take the next day off.
Rest is truly best if done right!
I usually try to do about 3 days week - give or take a workout. However, my career as a meeting planner (and a business owner) don't always let me do want I want to do. The only thing that really stops me from going is work. Maybe I should retire? :)
